FlyPi, a DIY microscope for research, diagnosis and education
FlyPi is a small microscope and behavioural setup, that can be assembled for less than 150 Euros. This device, which is being developed in a joint collaboration of Open neuroscience and Trend in Africa, has already been used for cutting edge neuroscience experiments with invertebrates, detection of human gastro-intestinal parasites and education (assembly workshops) in basic electronics and programming.
